Film Education -

"It is important that children see different films like this so that they can make comments about the films, so they get to criticise and also so that we can talk about the films afterwards and analyse films and not just view films from a passive perspective but talk about them. "

"I think these type of screenings are really good because usually when they (students) go to the cinema they go to see a particular type of film, they don't get exposed to a whole variety and this gives them a chance to see that there is something else out there. "

"Both staff and students really enjoyed both films and they provided plenty of discussion and opportunities for follow up work. I was reminded once again of just how much can be gained from being together and having fun outside of the classroom setting. "
